From A Local Listener

What a wonderful surprise!  From a Weekly Dose Of … fan AND, yes, we understand this is not the correct NRBQ LP, but for visual effect we must include something after all.  A few weeks back Bernie included RC Cola and a Moon Pie, by NRBQ, in our programming for the night.  The song was released on the bands 1986 Workshop LP.

For you Leah we were naturally inclined to play “RC Cola and a Moon Pie” one more time last night, and yes, of course we sampled the treat!   Thank you, Leah, we appreciate your being part of the WCOM family!

Bernie has been including this song as part of his Memorial Day Celebrations back in Connecticut.  This year marked fifty years of the event with close friends and their families.  But this year marks the first time being gifted a RC Cola and a Moon Pie.  When sharing the news of the gift back home, the friends were quite tickled by the news.
