Out on the Edge DJs, as members of the LGBTQ+ Senior Resource Team with the Orange County Dept on Aging, are hosting a program 6-7:30 p.m. on March 18. The program is free; we welcome allies of all ages.
Presented by Dr. Joseph Winberry, Assistant Professor in the school of Information and Library Science at UNC-Chapel Hill, “Libraries in the Lives of LGBTQ People” will focus on information marginalization for the senior LGBTQ community and the history of libraries in the lives of LGBTQ folks.
