A visit with George Marinelli

Many of you out there have heard his guitar and not realized you were listening to George.  An accomplished guitarist and songwriter who has recorded with, and toured with Bruce Horsby and the Range, Billy Vera and the Beaters, and for nearly 30 years been touring and recording with Bonnie Raitt!  He has played with so many accomplished artists over the years including James Taylor, Garth Brooks, Ray Charles, Art Garfunkel, Vince Gill and to many more to list here.

WCOM Weekly Dose Of … had the great fortune to have George join our show this past Friday 10/4/24.  Bernie and Erik had a very intimate, and casual conversation with George which included playing all of his most recent release “Except Always”, and a few special tracks with George and Bonnie Raitt.  We learned about his song writing collaborations with Bonnie Raitt and much more.  He has a storied career that began as music was discovered at a young age.  Eclectic describes his listening exposures as well as the bands he has played with.
