Carrboro, grab your headphones and your civic pride. The Carrborean Radio Hour is officially taking to the air on WCOM 103.5 FM, bringing hyper-local stories, voices, art, and flavor straight from our community to your ears.
We are kicking things off with a little sneak peek: a guest-host spot on “SOS” with Jacques Menache on Tuesday, November 4. During that special appearance, we will debut our very first Town Treasures segment. Want to play along? Try to guess our inaugural Town Treasure. Hint: they are one of the reasons Carrboro is Carrboro.
The official launch of our weekly show lands Monday, November 10 from 4–5 PM, and we are starting strong with the first installment of our Carrboreadin’ book club segment. Our guest will be Al Julian, author of “Shadow Men,” a thriller set right here in the Triangle. Local setting? Local author? You better believe it.
November’s lineup will also serve up lively conversations around art, food, and what makes our community tick. If it shapes Carrboro, we are talking about it.
