Just another night with the Legends of the Groove Signature cymbal, only on Weekly Dose Of …
Last night (8/25) was another magical night at WCOM and only heard on Weekly Dose Of … Our good friend F. Scott Moyer brought a huge surprise guest to the show as part of our ongoing Legends of the Groove Signature cymbal segments. We had Gary Mallaber, who is currently living in Los Angeles and a session drummer, percussionist and singer whose career makes up the soundtrack of our lives. Many of you may not realize, but Gary has played with Van Morrison, Peter Frampton, Eddie Money, Bob Segar, Bonnie Raitt, Steve Miller and so many more. Last night we showcased several great tracks and two albums he was part of creating in 1976/77. Gary’s footprint on music is mind blowing when you start to look around and realize his impact. He has an incredible career and with his craft has quite the storied musical journey and contribution to many artists hits.
