Hi, my name is Dawn Amadea and this is a new, weekly radio show on Music History and Appreciation called Voyages with Ms. Dawn.  I’m a classroom veteran of 15 years and have taught music to all ages from 3 year olds to adult life-long learners.  I hold a Bachelors of Music degree from Florida Atlantic University and a Masters in Science of Education from the University of Dayton in Ohio.  My deepest passion is teaching music.

My vision for this show is to create a virtual classroom in which each week, we will explore a composer, a musical concept, an era, a lesson on how to listen to a particular type of music, or some other kind of interesting tidbit of musical history I’ve picked up along the way.

This is the ideal radio show for homeschoolers in middle and high school and for anyone interested in going deeper into the world of music and the fine arts.  I’m grateful to WCOM 103.5FM for giving me the opportunity to share my passion.
