Ike and the Colonel brave the dark of night to bring WCOM listeners into the light of a Friday morning with a double-plus eclectic mix that swings from Tennessee Ernie to Mississippi Fred, Esquerita to Einstuerzende Neubauten and from Wanda Jackson to Woob.
Ike rocks by night with fellow-musician and ex-AntiSeen drummer Greg Clayton in the Ike Frasier Band. The Colonel drags west-coast radio experience to WCOM from KCMU and KFMF in Northern California and KCMU (now KEXP) in Seattle.
